The service

Calkub estimates nutrition from photos, barcodes and a food database. It is not medical advice: every figure is an estimate with a margin of error. Talk to a health professional about health decisions, including before starting to lose weight if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.

The free plan

The free plan never expires and needs no payment method on file. Choosing not to subscribe does not remove anything you have already logged.

Subscriptions

Every Calkub subscription is billed by Apple as an in-app purchase. There is no other payment path, and we will never send you outside the App Store to pay.

A subscription renews automatically on the cycle you chose until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Apple Account's App Store settings, at least 24 hours before the next period. Management and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

No App Store products are on sale yet, so no subscription can be started and nothing can be charged.

Acceptable use

Use Calkub to log your own food. Don't access the analysis or support services by automated means, send unlawful or abusive content, or try to disrupt the service.

Apple's licence agreement

Use of the app downloaded from the App Store is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Liability

Calkub is provided "as is". We work to make the numbers as accurate as we can and name the source of the data, but we cannot guarantee that an estimate matches any particular plate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions based solely on these estimates.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes, and will update the date at the top each time. Questions? Contact us.
